What we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can demand from us.
We sell a device that cannot phone home. The website should behave in the same spirit, so this policy is short on purpose.
Who is the controller

What the console collects
Nothing. A VIDEOCADE has no network hardware, no storage of personal data and no way to send anything anywhere.
What this website collects
- No advertising cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers. The shop sets the cookies WooCommerce needs for the cart and checkout to work.
- Server logs. Our host records the usual technical entries — IP address, time, page requested, user agent — to keep the site running and defend it against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
What we collect when you order
- Order and delivery data — name, delivery address, email, order contents. Needed to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Payment data — handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference; we never receive your full card number.
- Invoices and accounting records — kept for as long as tax law requires (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Correspondence — kept while the matter is open and for the warranty period afterwards.
Who else sees it
Only the parties needed to get a parcel to you and the money to us: the carrier, the payment provider, and our accountant. We do not sell data and do not share it for marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@videocade.eu; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
